I'm looking at an old Mc Faul Bros. advertisement from 7/48 that says:
"The trade name "Airstream" pertains to air-airflow-streamlining;
therefore,
we have named our various 22 ft. models after popular winds, namely:
Breeze-Chinook-Southwind-Tradewind-Westwind-Zephyr-Sea Breeze (Electric
Refrigerator standard equipment) ; 28 ft. "Superliner" is the
Whirlwind. The
16 ft. model is named the "Wee Wind" (just a little wind).
