When I bought my 65 tradewind I desided that before I used the trailer I had 
to best clean the tank and hot water htr. I used4 gal of swiming pool clorine 
in thewater tank I than filled it and turned a air hose on in it at low 
volium for an hour. You would not believe the discusting stuff that came out 
of the fawcets when I ran the pump. I had to fill the tank several times and 
pump it dry before I got good ckean water. 
I have since installed a large (home use) charcole filter in the water line 
with check valves so all water goes through it wheather I am using from the 
storage tank or outside source. Also I have installed the 2nd filter to 
replace the one under the sink so that drinking water has to go through 2 
charcole filters. I also have 1 filter that is portable so if I have to fill 
the storage tank from a unkown source I can filter it befori it goes into the 
storage tank.
