Re: [VAC] Pressure Water System Air Pump/try a Miller
Tim, the beauty of keeping your pressure system, is that when you hook
up to city water, the city water automatically pressurizes the system.
When I fill up my Bambi from the city hook up, the tank fills about 3/4
full and pressurises. The pressure has lasted as long as 3 weeks with
minimum use. To add pressure, just kick on that little pump. I think
you can get a new small pump at Sears, or at other RV stores. The
Camping World , hard to find parts counter, can find the pump for you.
If you go with a sur-flo pump, you lose the ability to fill the tank
from the city hose hook-up. You may also have to install an accumulator
tank to modulate the pressure for the sur-flo. Good Luck.
