Tom -

Wow. There must be some difference in the way our lamps are mounted or
something. I'm using the mantle that came with my lamp - the tie-on
Humphries ones (not the "pre-formed" ones). And I literally mean the mantle
that came with my lamp. I have two extra packages that I bought at the time,
but I've never had to use one. I've probably put about 5,000 miles on the
trailer - much of it through mountains - and I haven't had to replace the
mantle yet.
