[VAC] old camper smell

    We have given or "69 Overlander a thorough cleaning but it still has this funky smell to it. I fear there may me some problems with the holding tank, but my knowledge is still very limited. The tank registers as half full, but it only drips when I try to drain it.

    Is removing the belly the best option? I thought that way I could see whats up with the tank and clean up any smelly leaks that may have occured.

    Also, if this the best approach, are there any bits of wisdom on removing the belly. I was just going to drill out the old rivets and slide it out {if there is enough clearence}
