Re: [VAC] Add Gray Water Holding Tank to 1973

Haul your water in 30 or 55 gallon drums laid down in your vehicle and fill
your storage with a hose from them. You can get new or used "food grade"
Plastic drums fairly reasonable if you look around. Just make sure they are
"food grade" Or you could move them standing up and use another pump [ hand,
air, or electric] to transfer water to your main tank. Look for survivalist
suppliers or just drum suppliers in the yellow pages or on the net. We've
had some "non food grade" ones out in the weather for 10 or 12 years and
they still seem to still be in good shape. If all else fails, the square 5
or 6 gallon jugs with the petcocks can be adapted to a hose fitting. Letting
gravity do the work saves the back.
