There was a series of such antenna plugs made by the Mosely Antenna
Company of St. Louis. What you describe sounds like those products
rather than something specific to air streams. The trouble is those were
made for twinlead and twinlead doesn't perform well next to aluminum
sheets, it would be better to use coaxial cables in the walls and baluns
if needed at the antenna and TV set.
