Re: [VAC] Awnings

A couple of other comments on the Fiamma awning that I failed to mentioned
earlier: The awning doesn't have to be permantly mounted to the railing. If
you wanted, you could just slide the awning into the rail and remove it when
ready to travel, i.e. no holes, mounts or anything. On the other hand if you
wanted a more secure setup, the bottom of the legs have a plastic "foot"
that normally rest on the ground. It would be easy to make an inconspicuous
catch on the side of the trailer for each "foot". This would negate the
need for guide wires for the awning during high winds, but then the orginal
"dinning awning" used guides.
I am very pleased with my awning and it keeps the Florida sun and rain away
from the entrance.
