John,

I'll highly recommend either Homer's Metal Miracle or Homer's Aerivus
both are excellent, one works better on bare aluminum, the other works 
better on clearcoat.

Both are extremely easy to use, very durable, and scratch-free.
Both come in RV-size bottles (full quart), so a bottle will last you a 
while.
