Thanks, Bill.  I have travelled quite a few miles already with no rock guard 
but living in Co, pitted windshields are a way of life even when not on 
gravel roads.  When they do "sand" the roads here, they do it with gravel, 
and I figure I'm traveling on borrowed time.  At least it is flat glass, not 
curved, on that front window.  
Weather is not looking too good for travel this weekend for getting out of Co 
and down through NM.
