I've been told that the wheels are Chevy (GM) 5 lug '60-'70 light truck
wheels, and that a 7.45/7.00x15 converts to a 205ST15 radial.  The 205
has a lower wider profile, so it sits lower and looks a little funny -
and won't fit a '65 Caravel due to the wheelwell clearances.  Neither
will the 7.00x15 or 7.45x15 tires.  I'm still looking for a 6.70x15
profile tire before our Caravel's maiden voyage this May.
