Tim,
The fifty amp system will over charge if left plugged in for days with
little use of batteries.It does make a good heavy charger for after a long
weekend,  plug in at home for 24 hrs.   Get a Sears small automatic
charge maintenance unit "about $29.00".   This will not charge a large
battery but will keep one charged
with out babysitting it.    Beware of putting 100+Lbs  of batteries Aft of
the axles.  Remember 1971 'tail droopers'.  You mentioned two large golf
cart batteries.  My charger and batteries are in the rear of the unit, just
in front of the bumper on the curb side.
