Its probably 1/8" pipe threads. You can drill it out and thread it 1/4"
pipe threads and then put in a reducing bushing. Or find a tubless tire
valve that has two nuts and some rubber washers and just drill a little,
no tapping. The hardware ought to be aluminum or stainless else there
will be a corrosive cell set up.
