Rather than a machine which is at the mercy of power outages and an eventual
limit on messages.
You might see if your local phone company has what GTE here calls "Personal
Secretary"
1. No Machine.
2. Takes messages when you're on the phone or modem.
3. Can take multiple messages if more than one person happens to call at the
same time.
4. Can hold unlimited number of messages.
5. Can be accessed from any other phone with just a call.
6. You can change your greeting message anytime from any phone.
7. Can even be programed to work as a wake up service.
