Re: [VAC] Univolt,Battery and Pumps??

Polly,
 If your UniVolt is working, keeping the battery charged and the lights
bright, you're all set.

Glad to hear that you have your brake controller problems sorted out!

I picked up a couple of 2-wire disconnect plugs at a flea market that I
thought about using for the trailer battery, but haven't installed one
yet. They're 2-wire, 50-amp capacity with pigtails of flexible #6 wire,
real nice outfits. Something meant for a car battery should do as well;
you might want to make the splice of "all those wires" a short distance
from the connector, using wire of #6 or #4 from the splice to the
connector and from the connector to the battery. Welding cable comes in
that size and is very nice due to the flexibility and rubber jacket.
It's a good idea to have a 40-amp fuse in that line, very near the
battery.
