Jim, sorry, but that 3000# is most likely an empty, or dry weight. Load up
your camper (food, clothing, water, etc., etc.) then take it to a public
scale to get it weighed. You will most likely find that you have added more
than 1000# to the published weight, your tires may be overloaded. Also, ST
tires are preferred for trailers over the LT's. They are manufactured for
the different needs that trailer tires have. LT's will work, but not as
well, nor as long.
