I was having problems with my Onan which was turning over, but not firing. Turns out to have been a faulty relay, and it can be started by turning it to manual rather than electric start. The Onan tech is looking for a new relay, and I should be seeing him this weekend. I will raise the question about your generator with him. I think we probably have the same model.
