[SilverStreak] SS Floor Plan

Joe,
I looked and dreamed for about 10 years. If I ever see another rear bedroom
I will email you. I spend way too much time looking at every SS for a rear
bedroom even now. To my knowledge Streamline never made a rear bedroom,
except for my Streamline Motor Coach #5050. There are others, but lot of
them were the rear caboose porch, rear tub, toilet and sink across the hall
like my 5050, and then the twins on either side as you move forward like my
5053 and Tom's Motor Coach. There were less than 100 made, but more than 50.
We actually don't exactly know.

There is a reason, and you guessed it. Expense. Already expensive, people
would not pay for the expensive option Wheel wells and plumbing creates
more work, but much better weight factors by getting all the bath components
off the rear. The tanks are still back there, but nothing else. So it's just
much easier to hang it all in the back.

Some people don't care anyway. For me I really like the total separation of
the two sleeping areas that affords privacy and mutual access to a central
bath and facilities without compromise of sleeping children which thank God
are gone or couples that prefer that privacy. Man the rear bedroom really
gives a lot of room for wrap-around upper cabinetry. You can also alter it
into a wrap-parlor booth bed that is just huge! Mine has the twins on either
side, and built in dresser cabinet drawer vanity center back under the
window. The forward area is like any SS with the TV short cabinet slider and
mini closet you are familiar.

There are surely others out there, I think another member said they had one,
but they are very scarce. Let's find them!
