Welcome to the fraternity of Silver Streak owners. Only a few thousand Silver Streaks were ever built. Silver Streaks along with Streamlines were extremely well built and contained high quality components. (except for the @&*@$#@* Pot Metal Hinges on the 1970's-1980's models). Silver Streaks were quite expensive and considered a "High End" item. I don't know the exact numbers, but I have been told that only a few hundred a year were built. If you go the Tom Patterson's web site and look under the various headings, he has a number of old manuals that can be down loaded. What I did was down load the manuals, diagrams, etc. then printed them out on a Photo Printer using Photo Paper. I then sprayed them with Krylon Clear to protect them. I have noted a renewed interest in Silver Streak and Streamline trailers. The prices of fully functional trailers, of all year models, seem to be increasing, and should continue to increase over the years. Enjoy your great travel trailer, have fun. I recently purchased a 1969 28' Silver Streak Rocket that my husband and I are restoring. I had never heard of a Silver Streak until I Googled it. I believe they are somewhat rare in this part of the world. It was stored at a mobile home park close to where I live and I would drive buy it often and became more and more curious of it. I located the owner and aked if he would sell it. There was something about it, I had to have it. I certainly know more now, but have lot's to learn. If anyone has any information or literature as in manuals or original brochures of this anniversary model it would be as interesting and helpful as appreciated. Thank you, Lorrie.
