[SilverStreak] RE: First Trip

Greetings all,

	This week we took the 73 Saturn on its first trip. Went to
Manhattan, Kansas for the weekend. We left Wednesday and returned tonight.
Had a great time. The trailer pulled easy with my Dodge 1500 w/5.7 Hemi. We
ran 65-70 all the way. We had a blast with the camper and really got to
check it out. Will have to run all new water lines. And redo the seal on the
refridge. The A/C worked great and we found a cool little fan to move air to
the rear bedroom. I used an air mattress for the boys and am pretty sure we
will be putting in a wrap around dinette in the future. Had a pretty good
test on how weather tight the old girl was as we had 5.5 inches of rain on
Sat. We have a couple issues around two windows to deal with but nothing
major. Al and all I give the trip a 9 out of ten. Not bad for the first
trip.
