Problem with the tire covers is that they will help on the UV but they do
nothing for ozone attacking the tires.  I'd still see if I could see the
date codes on the tires.  My Father in law said the tires on the trailer we
bought from him were about 4 years old and we lost one on the first trip
(luckily no damage).  After digging in his receipts, the newest two were
almost 7 years old.

The owner said they were 3-4 years old and had covers on them to protect so
no dry rot. When I get her home it will get a good going over.
