I suppose a lot of the towing has to do with how much weight is in the trailer. 
I have a fair amount of camping accessories loaded in the trailer but tow with 
a GMC Diesel 3/4 ton. It does far better than my Ford 3/4 gasoline did. Climbing 
and going down hills have been the most significant change for the better.
