Since the trailer should not be towed with any water in the tanks,
except for a gallon in each to slosh around and help keep the tank
clean, tanks do not add much weight to a trailer.
A trailer shouldn't be towed with full tanks any farther than the
nearest dump. Rear bath trailers that have rear holding tank(s) are
thrown out of balance in the worst way by full tanks. (More weight in
the rear reduces weight on the hitch and increases the moment of
inertia, encouraging yaw (sway).)
