Take a look at http://www.rvsolar.comfor the Hot Setup when it comes to solar.

You probably want 75 watts or so of panels and an appropiate controller.Sherry
is getting by with less, but I'll get she's real frugal with her usage.(75 watts
is going to be about 4 foot square of panels, more or less)

Mounting panels directly on the roof of your trailer isn't recommendedbecause of
cooling considerations. You should have at least 2" clearance behindyour panels
so they don't overheat.

There was an article in Home Power Magazine some time ago by a fellawho was
full-timing in an RV and used only/mostly solar power, but darned ifI can find
that copy of the mag at the moment. <<sigh>>
