It may be the original paint but may not be the original color any
longer. Dirt, grim, and time have an interesting way with paint. My
guess is the original paint was much lighter
in color. I suggest you paint it and make it bright and pleasant tobe
in. It will increase it's value. I haven't met and antique trailer
collectors, have you. Vintage yes but not antique. You are not limited
to painting a solid color. There are different roller patterns youcan
get, various sponging techniques over a base coat, spattering techniques,
etc you can use to still create a softer looks. Check with your paint
co's and hobby shops. Library may have some books on decorating with
paint.
