As the old saying goes: "Different strokes for different folks!"

On the '53, if it is in good condition I personally would leave it asI
feel that the original paint adds to the value. However you might preferto
repaint to make it brighter. You have to live with it so .......Ifyou plan
on selling the unit in the near future the original painted interiormight
be of value to the purchaser. On the '63 Overlander, since it's already
painted, and your happy with it, I'd leave it alone. It sounds likeit's
nice and bright in there. These are kind of personal choice type of
questions.

Sounds like you have two nice units. Enjoy them!!
