Thanks Terry, great ideas, and a great attitude.
Finding old parts takes a 'positive' and 'adventurous' attitude. Italso
helps to know the right people.

I have been on a 'quest' for many moons now looking for a replacement
for the original Theodore Bargman trail-lite 14 , the funny little
license plate/tail lite combination. It was used on many Airstreamsin
the 50's and is generally recognized as 'ahead of its time'. It would
be the ideal replacement for those cheapo license plate bracket/lites
that were used in the sixties.

The people at Theodore Bargman products don't want to mess with it,and
it seems like the Chinese are taking over that market segment anyway.

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to find or fabricate or reproduce
the Bargman trail-lite 14. It was a standard license plate holder with
tail lite and white lite combo above the plate. You can see a picture
of one on Tom Howarth's 53 Flying Cloud. The pictures were posted on
some URL and it is the same Flying Cloud that was used for the modelof
the new keychain. Can someone help me ?? I think those Trail-Lite 14's
are so neat, if they could be made and sold at a fair price, the market
would be quite large.

Help-Help-Help
