Hey Evan, I've heard of folks towing 31 footers with 1/2 ton pick-ups
and small block V-8's....
but not very far and not very fast,........and pray its all flat land,
because a small 1/2 ton will not 'Do Hills' easily. To pull that 31
footer you need at least a 3/4 ton truck or Van with a healthy engine
and complete towing package,( large radiator, trans cooler, electric
brake controller, and sometimes larger side mirrors) You probably
havn't noticed pulling that 31 footer because you've got the big Van
with a '460'.
Having that extra power is a good feeling.
