core was standard on our van, a 4 core was standard on vans used as
ambulances, a 5 core was special ordered from Chicago, made to fitthe
available space and wasn't cheap. Why 5 core? Ambulances don't routinelypull
Airstreams up mountains. If I'm going to upgrade, my attitude is tomake it
meaningful. Correcting a problem in some farmer's pasture in a littleMexican
village isn't my style. If my problem is because I was chintzy thefirst time
I had the job done, then shame on me.

Re: Q about transmission oil cooler - A: it's separate and supplementsthe
little thing inside the radiator. Again, if I upgrade, it's got tomake a real
difference, NOT a "just noticeable difference." As an aside, I alsodid a no-
no and exchanged the thermostat for one that would keep the temperaturegauge
on the dash reading in the "Normal" range. The 180 didn't do it, butthe 150
does.
