Marilyn in Pennsylvania , Yes , those neat little thin and curved
corning glass windows were stock in 66 and 67 Airstreams. The curve
gracefully follows the slight radius of the body. If the window
mechanisms are maintained and the rubber stripping is replaced
periodically, those windows will close and lock tightly providing a
water-tight weather seal. Keep the screw mechanisms lubricated witha
little white grease, and give them a little excercise now and again.I
did all my windows with Limo Tint, and they provide daytime privacy, and
summer-time cooling. In addition, they have a nice modern
"look". When they are open, they act as small individual awnings by
providing a modicum of shade because of the tint. Treat them
carefully, they are not easy to find replacements.
