The original and most popular VAC video is the Bud Cooper polishingvideo.
Although it seems almost dated now, it was the first of its kind and
provides an indication of the work and endeavors necessary. It is available
through the following,

Vintage Airstream Club Video Available on polishing Airstream Trailers.

Bill Duncan.
1444 South Indian Creek Rd.
Stone Mtn. GA 30083-5223
Telephone: 404-292-6064
If you leave a message, expect a collect return call.

Since that video first came out, there has been a large interest inpolish
trailers and there have been several improved methods. The best andeasiest
method is to get the checkbook out and send your trailer to one ofthe
commercial outfits around the country.

However, if you are one who likes to do their own work, perhaps thevideo is
a good place to start. It is also worthwhile to attend one of the polishing
seminars given at different rallies around the country.

Be forewarned that polishing your trailer is one of the hardest anddirtiest
jobs you will ever get involved with. But, after it is completed youwill
get a satisfaction of a job well done. You might also find that thejob is
just too overwhelming and should be brought to professionals.

Furthermore, two years down the road and you need to do it all again!

Good luck and please keep us posted.

polished in '97 (see http://www.airstreamcentral.com/gallery/howarth.html)
and now it is time to do it all over again, exhausted just thinkingabout it
but plan on jumping in during the April/May time frame
