Some people seem to think of zip cord as "the stuff of life" and forthem,
maybe it is like Det cord......who knows when it'll go off.

but seriously, who mentioned the voltage drop? how are you measuringthis?
remember that the highest resistance in a series circuit will determinethe
ultimate voltage drop (as a function of current). so if you use #8to feed
the trailer, but the 12V outlet is a cigarete lighter duplexer fromRadio
Shack (probably equivalent to #14), then the limiting resistance isfor #14 (i
know length is a factor but for the moment, lets assume as does NFPAcode -
size change is the important element). But the #14 curcuit in and ofitself
would do for up to 12 amps at 12V - or a total wattage of 144W.

What I would like to know is if one of you with a well appointed rigwould
mind enumerating what electricals you have along with the nameplateamps for
12V (13.5VDC?). I'm new at this trailer stuff and need to get a feelfor it.
I know a 25W lamp is roughly 2 amps, but what's a TV worth? what aboutthe
fridge?, tummy tV, etc?
thanks in advance for what will be good info.
regards
denny
