Bill,
Zip Cord is the familiar stuff you see on lamps around the house. They
call it "zip cord" because you can 'zip' the conductors apart.

Not the stuff to do wiring with, but I've seen the stuff in walls of
houses. ("cause of fire was electrical in nature")
