Sherry,
Try it again. http://www.can-am-rv.com is definitely the correct address,
and it's come up correctly for me several times.

The anti-sway bars we're discussing consist of a telescoping, rectangular
gadget that drops onto 2 miniature hitch balls (1 1/4" diameter). One ball is
mounted on the side of the trailer tounge, about 18" or so from the hitch,
the other is mounted on the vehicle hitch assy, about 6" to the SIDE of the
main hitch ball. As you turn the rig left or right (I won't discuss port or
starboard <<grin>>), the gadget telescopes in and out. It has a clamp
screw(s) that you tighten down to make this thing resist the telescoping
action. The purpose is to keep the trailer from swaying or "whipping"; this
action is usually initiated by a bump in the road or a wind gust, as from a
passing 18-wheeler. It is very scary and can cause you to loose control
completely or break something. Although I've never had a trailer sway on me,
I was once behind a boat trailer when it started to whip side-to-side. Scared
hell outa me, so bad that I remember it like yesterday, and it was 30 years
ago.

Although mine was given to me, I can't imagine that they're very expensive,
and installation should be inexpensive also.

Another point is loading: you want at least 10% of the trailer weight on the
tounge; loading tail-heavy will make your rig very unstable. I plan on
experimenting with loading my trailer to see what the weight of water in the
holding and waste tanks does. Best case is when I leave for a W/E trip with
the supply tank in front full; worst case is coming home with that tank empty
and the waste tank in rear full.
