Anybody ever seen a $25,000 1967 Safari. There's a fellow on Ebay who thinks
he has one. It's for sale too but the reserve hasn't been met.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it sold. The eBay auctions tend to take
place during the last five minutes. I'm glad to see a seller take a
position on our Airstreams. They're rare and good one is worth the price.

with this type of panel, is there any problem with the shaded cells
back-draining the power of the cells in the sun? I know that many
panels have that issue are no good if over 10% of the surface is
shaded. (or curved away from the sun)

Subject: Weeping P/R Valve

Problem solved! After a day and a half of trying to clean and replace
washers I walked in our Local Hardware Store and found a exact match for the
P/R valve in my trailer ($10). After a little grunting and groaning and
running for more tools, 10 minutes later the new valve was in and the
problem fixed. Andy, the hole was in the floor for the relief water tube. I
can't imagine the thought process of trying to solve the weeping problem by
pointing the tube straight up. We could write a book, "Previous Owners, What
Was He Thinking?". Anybody want to start a thread on this subject?

What I find amazing about this restoration process and something I really
like is how difficult problems seem when you first encounter them and how
simple they are once you fix them. Great learning curve.

Thank you Jim and Andy. Your help is valuable, not only with my questions,
but with many others.

Not a problem. Uni-Solar uses technology that minimizes that problem.
Check out their website at http://www.unisolar.com for technical info.

Hello,

Its that time of year again that the Scheuermann's are back on the road.
Last year we shared some of our trip with this list. This year we will NOT
share via the list, however if you wish to receive the travellog, please
email me at s.l.scheuermann@xxxxxxxxxx.net , and you will receive them offlist.
Some of you may wonder why we are going offlist this year, but I have found
that as the list monitor I must walk a straighter path, otherwise I get
complaints.

Scott
