Thanks, Gerald J. My Caravel pump only runs when I draw water, and get no
water when the pump power is off. Given that it's 40+ years old, I think
I'll retire it and go modern. I've had it apart once 3 years ago, and don't
think I want to rely on it after doing it again. I'll give it free to anyone
who wants to rebuild this classic and will reimburse me for the postage.
