Martin,
My tank and valve assembly are all original. I used the toilet (#1 only)
for the first time last weekend. My valve leaks when it's being opened. It
stays sealed when it's closed and it doesn't leak anything when fully
opened, but it leaks when I pull it. I just pull it quickly and make sure
no one is around. I've had it looked at and the shop says nothing to do
but replace it. They did lubricate it.
