The archives might have exactly what you are looking for.
I used powered equipment ( 5in grinder with wire wheel attachment)
to clean the metal at the tongue and bumper, then painted it with
POR15 black, then a coat of Stirling Silver, also by POR15. The
Stirling silver is sort of a dirty silver, that is not too bright to
stick out like a sore thumb on an otherwise aged trailer.
