Thanks for the insights. I will check for a clip, and
backup with the plastic hose piece. It sounds like
there is more than one kind of antenna. Mine is about
4 or 5 feet long, fully extended. From what I have
been able to find out some are really long. I think
the hose length will prevent any further problems,
even without a clip.
