Colin and others,

I have purchased a door knob assembly from a '69 off of another list member. 
(Thanks Pete!) I am assuming that I will need to replace the long striker 
with a shorter one. And I think that I have already found a home for the 
long striker. I will let the list know how it works out.

I went to the Bargman website and complained about the quality of the 100 & 
200. Their customer service rep replied the next day agreeing that their 
quality was not what it used to be since they were out-sourcing these knobs. 
However she did say that if there was a problem within the first year of use 
that they would be happy to replace it.
