[VAL] tongue hole size for electric jack

Got the Atwood Deluxe, bought new heat treated bolts,
started to install it and, oops, the hole is close to
2inch, the jack tube is close to 2.25 inch. I note
that the lighter weight lifting jack has the smaller
tube. My question: Better to grind out the hole in the
tongue, and the plate below, or get the smaller jack?
what do you think?
