I think this is a great idea, wish I had some places to add.

I was thinking that the format we might use would be like the one that 
the Discovery MH owner's site uses to make overlays that show all the 
Walmarts and Flying J's and etc. 

Go here and read up.  It shows you how to download and use with whatever 
mapping program you use.  Your way point stuff would limit the usage to 
those with GPS and so on.  I got one for Xmas but haven't used it 
yet........

If this info can be put into that format, it would be very useful !
