    Gerald,

    The reason the Sky River folks gave me was that Airstream only supplies
them with spare parts going back 10 production years.  Now I don't know if
that's really true or if they were just blowing smoke in my face but that's
what they told me rather stridently as if I were wasting their time.

    I might add that there were three young employees behind the counter
looking pretty relaxed aside from the one who was playing computer solitaire
or some other card game, honestly.  Actually he was the one who got a bit
exercised at first and who told me about their 10 year spare parts rule.
