You pretty much measure & define what you have and what you want.  Pretty much each 
replacement axle is custom made, almost like the Airstreams they sit under.  That's 
what I had to do for the Caravel axle replacement.  It's also why Henschen stopped 
selling direct to customers.  Owners kept phoning up Jim and asking "I need an axle 
for a 19XX Model XXX" Airstream".  No one, not even Airstream has that info.
