Yep, Joann, it is a skin patch.  I found a diagram on the internet, but 
I think my copy is at my shop so I don't have the web site handy.  The 
AS solution is to put rivet a skin patch on both sides and from the 
rear, they look like elephant ears.  An alternate method is to cover 
the hole with a reflector.  Thanks for the compliment on the post.
