[VAL] Re: Powerstroke - static shock

According to the guys from Car Talk on NPR, a major cause of static shock is
tires. Has to do, I think, with the carbon content of the rubber.

Their recommendation is to get new tires, or to buy a grounding strap that
hangs from the undercarriage and drags on the road. I remember them from my
youth, but haven't seen one in years.

Seemed plausible to me. I have a 2000 Yukon XL that is wicked.
