Dan,

Type 2 Phillips windows with the Corning glass use a two piece bar
that comes apart, correct? If this is the type of bar you have to set
the glass in then bedding tape is recommended for ease of
installation. However, you can also use Permatex Black Silicone
Adhesive Sealant 16B, available at just about any Checker Auto or
automotive store. I've used it in my Type 1 windows in my '66 GT with
good results.
