Re: [VAL] '58 Overlander Manual

Steve:

There was no Service Manual for 1958 Airstreams. Trailers from that
era came with individual parts and/or installation sheets for each
appliance. You can find some of these on the VAC web site:

Airstream never released or issued structural drawings for any
trailer, nor will you find any actual electrical wiring diagrams. Even
the later service manuals only contained an electrical schematic
drawings, not an actual wiring diagram.

No 1958 trailer had a grey water tank, and most 1958 trailers never
had a black water tank. Only a few had a fresh water tank in 1958.

The large majority of 1958 Airstreams had all 110 volt a.c.
electrical appliances and were not self contained. Few had any 12 volt
lights other than one ceiling light near the door powered by the tow
vehicle.

Except for the appliances themselves, you are pretty much on your
own to find and diagram the items you inquired about for 1958 Airstreams.
