Welcome aboard Erica!
Sounds like you got a good deal on your trailer.  Before you hookup to water, 
 besure your water pressure isn't too high.  several years ago I hooked up to 
city water pressure and it was extremely high and blew out the plumbing which 
is not that common.  You can go to any RV supply and repair place and for 
about $8 get a brass pressure regulater that screws on between the city water 
inlet on your trailer and your water hose.
