For what it's worth, we put a gas light in our '78 Excella up on the wall that borders the fridge. Personally, wouldn't live without it. It's a great no power back-up and fine winter ambience. It runs on a 6' length of 1/4" automotive brake line. The mantles make a pretty good telltale for tire balance, too.
